New Office Showroom Opens in October

East Coast Swimming Pools have consolidated their presence on the Mornington peninsula, with the establishment of an office and showroom in Dromana. The purpose built facility provides the perfect base for the East Coast team to plan, create and manage your project as well as providing an ideal venue to discuss samples, finishes, styles the many details that make your pool or spa, ideal.

Water Neutral Pools. What the?

Pools use water, right? Wrong. A water neutral pool once established, doesn’t necessarily need water from our precious water storages. A water neutral pool, utilises your own harvested water.
A Water Neutral Pool utilises both water saving and water harvesting devices to ensure that it is “water-wise” by minimising mains water use.

A Water Neutral Pool delivers a range of benefits including:

  • Reduced water use – delivering water savings, energy savings and cost savings while reducing the impost on mains water
  • Reduced chemical use – cuts pool maintenance costs
  • Water collection at site – another way of saving water and money by storing water and diverting it for use in laundries and toilets, and on gardens

A Water Neutral Pool must, at a minimum, have the following features:

  • Water tank, to collect rainfall to top-up the pool as needed
  • Pool cover, to conserve 90% of water lost through evaporation
  • Backwash minimisation system, to prevent excessive backwashing.  At East Coast Swimming Pools we recommend large cartridge filters.
